I'm an insomniac, I am obsessed with bread making...

The next few nights/mornings if I feel ambitious, I might try making croissants instead of cheating with ready-made puff pastry.

Moreo

We had a visitor who requested my Oreo Cheesecake. Here goes the same old thing in a slightly different costume.

Monogamy Schmonogamy

This is like a fruit salad for adults, un ménage de trois between lemon grapes and apple... oh, and rum. It's a naughty yet healthy little concoction if you don't overdo it. Omit the rum if you prefer to preserve your innocence.

Ingredients:
Juice of 1 Lemon
1 1/2 cup of water
1 tablespoon of sugar
1 tablespoon of honey
1 apple cut to thin wedges
10 red globe grapes, halved and seeded
30 mL Bacardi rum

To make lemonade, mix and mingle the lemon juice and water with honey and sugar. Shake it like there's no tomorrow to dissolve the sweet things. Chill it, or you can use crushed ice if you don't have the time.

Arrange apple wedges down the bottom and grape halves on top and shake it. Pour the lemon-rum into the cup and serve. Of course you can add little cocktail umbrella and marachinno cherries if you want. Other fruits combination would work too, try kiwi fruit.

Stoberi Mwah

Hari ini kita ngerayain ultahnya Cece. Ultah sebenarnya tanggal 6 Febuari tapi berhubung pada hari H Cece di Indo dan merayakan gimana pun juga nga bakalan lengkap tanpa Kiki… jreng-jreng… jadi Kiki bikinin kue Strawberry Mwah alias kecupan stroberi. Semoga tahun ini kerjanya mulus sukses dan cepet kaya tanpa melanggar hukum (sayang muka su-per-mo-del gitu mau diborosin di penjara), dan juga dapet cowo yang layak buat cece gua yang super wuhui! ini. Setelah 2 tahun nga nyetir, begitu mulai lagi ternyata muluuuuusss banget. Pertanda baik apa si Cece ini memang berbakat jadi sopir ? Kita lihat saja nanti. (^o^)

Today we celebrated Cece's birthday. it's a little early to be bringing the cake since her birthday is on the 6th of February, but who needs an excuse to party anyway? So I made Strawberry Mwah. Wishing her a succesful career and that multi-billionaire-dom is close within her reach... also a succesful love life with a wonderful person who is worth my fantabulous sister. Kikikikikikiki. (^o^)

Christmas Day

Cece is arriving today at 9 to spend a week with us in Brisbane. Sadly there will be no Christmas cakes as I'm out of butter and cream. I'd like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a safe and Merry Christmas!! // Cece arrive aujourd'hui à 9 heures et elle vas passer la semaine avec nous à Brisbane. Tristement, on n'a pas de gâteau ce Noël parce qu'il ne reste rien de beurre et de crème chez nous. Alors, Joyeux Noël tout le monde ! // 姐姐今天到Brisbane來跟我們一起慶祝聖誕節。 我忘記了要買奶油和牛油，so不能做蛋糕。 祝大家聖誕節快樂！

Kiki kasih nama Tai-Kucing. Sudahkah Anda nikmati Tai Kucing hari ini? // 這是那天我們在老闆的家慶祝聖誕節的蛋糕，叫Daig-Oojing。 好聽嗎 ？

Chinese Cheeks

Ini roti manis biasa. Setelah di Indo Kiki ngeborosin tepung, gula dan bahan-bahan lainnya akhirnya bisa juga. Kiki mau berterima kasih sama Tuo-kow yang udah berbaik hati ngajarin dan ngasih semangat biar nga pantang mundur & juga buat si bawel Henu dan Papa yang rajin makan roti buatan Kiki tanpa peduli sukses apa gagal. Hihihi, emang indera perasanya udah aus apa niat baik ngasih semangat. Kiki kasih nama Chinese Cheeks alias pipi Cina karena Kiki kalo lihat gambar ini jadi ingat anak-anak di Cina yang pipinya bunder dan merah... trus kata Papa mereka juga jarang mandi.

Ce sont des petits pains avec la glace sucrée Après avoir gaspillé des ingrédients, j’étais réussi finalement de faire les pains. Je remercie ma tante qui m’a gentiment appris cet art culinaire et aussi, Papa et la bavarde Henu qui mangeaient tous n’importe pas s’ils étaient ok ou mauvais. Je les appelle Les Joues Chinoises parce qu’ils me rappellent joues rouges et rondes des petits enfants en Chine. Papa nous dit souvent qu’ils se sont lavés rarement.

Hazelnut Flavoured Moon

This is a plain mini hazelnut cheesecake from my early baking days. There is really not much to describe. I scattered some fruit candies that I got from Montville in Sunshine Coast.

Celui-ci est un cheese-cake mini à la noisette simple que j'ai fait au debut de ma liaison avec mon four. il n'y a pas beaucoup à décrire, je l'ai garni avec des bonbon que j'ai acheté de Montville, Sunshine Coast (au Sud de Brisbane).
